Terms of use ✦
Short and readable: what this site is, what we promise, what we do not, and what happens if something goes wrong.
Using this site
Last updated: 7 October 2026
This website is the studio site of velarde.dev, based in Managua, Nicaragua. You can read it, share the links and use what you learn here for free. By staying on the site you accept these terms; if you disagree with any of them, the honest option is to leave.
You may not use the site to break the law, to attack it or overload it (scraping at scale, automated requests, attempts to reach areas you should not reach), to copy it wholesale and present it as your own, or to misrepresent who you are when you write to us.
We may change, move or remove parts of the site at any time. The information here is published for general guidance and can become out of date; the version that matters for a project is the proposal we send you in writing.
What the site is and is not
The site explains what we do and shows real projects. It is not a shop, it does not take payments, and it does not create a contract on its own.
An enquiry through the site, WhatsApp or email is a conversation, not an agreement. Any project starts when you accept a written proposal that lists the scope, the timeline and the price, and that document is the one that governs the work.
The content on this site is general information about web design, content and paid campaigns. It is not legal, accounting or financial advice for your business, and it is not a promise about what will happen in yours.
No promise of results
We do not guarantee leads, sales, revenue, rankings, traffic or the performance of any advertising campaign. Nobody controls the market, the competition, the platforms or what people decide to do.
What we control is the work: the structure, the copy, the design and build, the landing page, the tracking and an honest reading of the numbers. That is what a proposal commits us to, and that is what we are accountable for.
Any figure you see on this site that describes experience (years, projects, support) is a description of the business, never a projection of what your project will produce.
Intellectual property
The design, the code, the texts, the images we produced and the layout of this site belong to velarde.dev unless a client project says otherwise. You may link to any page and quote short fragments with the link; copying the site or a project to reuse it as a template is not allowed without written permission.
Client logos, brands and photographs shown in the portfolio belong to their owners, and they appear here as a description of the work we did. If you own one of them and want it removed, write to us and we will act.
In a client project the rule is the one we put in writing there: your domain and your hosting account are in your name, your content and your brand stay yours, and you receive the access and the files you need when the project closes.
Links to other sites
This site links to client websites, social profiles and platforms we do not operate. Those links are there to show the work, not as an endorsement of everything published on them, and we are not responsible for their content, their availability or their privacy practices.
Availability, and the limits of our responsibility
We work to keep the site online and fast, but we cannot promise it will be available without interruption. Maintenance, a provider failure or a security incident can take it down for a while.
The site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows it, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damage caused by using this site or by trusting its general information instead of a written proposal.
Nothing on this page limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law that applies to you, and nothing here is meant to exclude liability that cannot be excluded.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by the laws of Nicaragua, and the courts of Managua have jurisdiction over any dispute that cannot be solved by talking first. That is where the studio works and where its contracts are signed.
If you are a consumer in another country, this does not take away the protection you have under the mandatory rules of your own country.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, this page and the date at the top change with them. The version published when you used the site is the one that applied to that visit.
